Colleges in Rameswaram

At the moment, Rameswaram has two colleges. One is a Udhayam Polytechnic College, and the other is a Dr. APJ.Abdul Kalam Government Arts and Science College.

Dr. APJ.Abdul Kalam Government Arts and Science College, Rameswaram

Currently, this is the only arts and science college in Rameswaram. It is temporarily functioning at the Government Boys Secondary School Ground. The college offers B.A. (Tamil), B.A. (English), B.Com., B.Sc. (Mathematics), and B.Sc. (Computer Science) courses. A new campus is under construction near the Nambu Nayaki Amman Temple.
 

Udhayam Polytechnic College

The Udhayam Polytechnic College is situated at Rameswaram (TK), Thenkuda (PO), Thangachimadam, and Ariyankundu. Civil, Mechanical, EEE, and ECE are the available courses.
